Welcome to BeatID ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application and website (collectively, the "Service").

BeatID uses Apple MusicKit to access your Apple Music subscription status and play song snippets. See Section 05 for full details.

Music playback and related data remain governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not store audio files on our servers, and we do not upload or store your full music library — BeatID only receives aggregate signals (e.g. "user has Apple Music subscription: yes/no").
You can revoke MusicKit access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music on your iOS device.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting admin@beatidapp.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Some information may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form for analytical purposes after account deletion.
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and keep your device updated.
BeatID is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
